The organization I work for just celebrated their 75th Anniversary. They have been doing business since 1933! Imagine that! When our founder started the business, he saw that once lawyers left law school, there was no formal training available to them to keep them abreast of changes in the law. He started a non-profit institution to address the continuing education needs of lawyers and in that he started an industry. Today there are hundreds of organizations that offer CLE and the competition in the field is fierce. We have to compete for every CLE dollar out there. We compete with local bars and huge national organizations like West. Here's hoping we have success for the next 75 years! Go PLI!
